Black 505 rallies mostly attended by Chinese, so Chinese racism is happening – Dr M

Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that the demographics of people attending the Black 505 rallies is proof that ‘Chinese racism’ is happening in the recent general election.

He said that the rallies were mainly a Chinese affair as they are attended largely by people of that race. As such, there will be further racial polarization in the country and the Malays will eventually suffer both politically and economically. He added that the reason why there are not so many Malays attending the rallies was because PAS leaders are distancing itself from the demonstrations. He further said that DAP is trying to make the Chinese control Malaysia politics where they have already ‘dominated the economy’.
